Hi.
I'm new here, though I've been on the orchids sub on Reddit for a while now.
I recently became interested in eulophia orchids which is actually what brought me here. I currently have a eulophia petersii and some dormant macrobulbon bulbs. Besides those, I grow phals, oncidiums, vanilla, epidendrums, a vanda, bepis, a maxillaria, an encyclia, a bulbo, a jewel orchid, and a newer pot of cymbidiums. Some of them are named species/hybrids and quite a few are NOIDs.
I'm dabbling with flasking. I have a flask of NOID epidendrum seedlings I sowed from a few pods I got from a redditor in Hawaii on home made medium.
I actually signed up here because of a thread from 2011 of a member here who accidentally grew a bunch of eulophia speciosa from seed. I just ordered some from a european vendor, and unfortunately my flasks went bad. It was a very small quantity of seed, and I was hoping I could pick some up here, or even a backbulb or something.
Despite not ever having been a member here, I've lurked around here quite a lot, and in fact, I think I got my original flasking recipe from here.
Anyway, it is nice to say hi to folks who have inadvertently helped me out over the last year or two.
