Newbie to the forums but I have been growing and loving orchids for many years now. My collection keeps growing and growing and growing and.....well you all know what I mean. Anyway, if anyone is near Statesville NC give me a yell as I would like to pick brains from those close to me on all orchid topics.

Welcome Punk!

Glad to have you here. What zone are you? We may be pretty similar. I'm in east TX, but it's a lot like the southeast (I used to live in VA).

We LOVE photos here, so upload some when you get a chance.

Welcome to the forum. What types of orchids do you grow? Greenhouse or windowsill?

I have a small lean-to attached to the side of the house. I will be expanding it this spring to make room for a growing collection. Right now I've got mostly Cats, Onc, and a few other things I'm playing with...Stan, Crths and Zygo's. Any suggestions for glazing material? I have been looking at everything but still have not decided on one thing yet. Right now it's rippled/corragated fiberglass panels.

Welcome to the board. Think lotsa folks here use double-wall glazing as it helps with heating and cooling both.
