Hello my name is Fernando but online i go by my middle name Xavier so yeah now that I have my name out of the way let me talk about what more important!

I started growing orchid give or take 4-5 years ago and started with 30 clearance Phalaenopsis orchids all NOID which was pretty crazy because i was bit by the orchid bug and was going to different places every day. It got to the point where i had it all planned and what places to hit up by the appearance on what orchids were going to finish blooming and going on sale. anyway i got them to re bloom and some to form keikis. Then LIFE hit me head on and didn't have as much time to care for them so what i did was sold them all and didn't let them die. fast forward to couple weeks ago my mother was going out of town and asked me if i wanted anything from where she was going. I jokenly (if that's even a word) said yeah bring me an orchid i hear ther is a trader joes where your going to be at! so couple days later she comes to my house and places it on the center of the dining table while i was at work. I come home and WOW i was in love again with orchids!!! its not the greatest orchid but its a pretty great one to start with and get hooked!! Then Last weekend i was at Lowes and i walked to the clearance section and saw some pretty beat up phals and then i saw it. Like it was waiting for me! no one took it which if i was still collecting that's the first plant i would have taken! And at last here i am joined a orchid forum and going to rehab with other fellow orchidholics!



Edit : I just purchased 2 phal flasks so will have 20-30 baby orchids soon :P any help is appreciated!!
