I'm new to this forum

Hello everyone I am new to this forum and I'm here to learn some things about orchids like how people grow their's and how they water them. Read some of the post people post on this forum and watch some of their videos about their orchids. If anyone would like to give me tips on how to navigate around this forum would be greatly appreciated. Hope everyone is having a blessed day.

On the left is a forums button. That will take you to various catagories. At the top of each forum are stickies, which are keepers advice. To the left of forums are icons which let you private message us, although you can do that from each thread by clicking on the name. At the top the red bar is full of pull downs. You can subscribe to a thread, search it, or look at today's posts. Someone else is sure to explain it better but, welcome...and I, at least, have had a very nice day, thank you!

Welcome to the Orchid Board!

If you start at the top maroon menu, click on Quick Links and then Today's Posts, you will find most of the recent threads with posts, sorted in reverse chronological order.

The top maroon menu has a Search function to find specific things here on Orchid Board. Be sure to look at Advanced Search.

If you are logged in, and then click on User CP (Control Panel) in the top maroon menu, you can edit a lot of things about your subscription. Look down to Edit Options. There is a host of things to play with. Some of them involve how you view threads, and whether you receive E-mails from Orchid Board letting you know when new messages are posted to threads where you've posted. You can also edit settings permitting other members to send you private texts. A lot of us exchange plants this way.
