Hi there,

my name is Katharina and I live in Germany.

I have been growing orchids and other plants for some years. I grow cattleyas (alliance), oncidiums (alliance), phrags and paphs. I am growing 4 vanda alliance plants which are new to me. I also grow a a few masdevallias and 2 cymbidiums.

I grow my plants in my home and do not have a greenhouse. In the summer, however, my plants live on the balcony which they seem to approve of.

You'll find a lot of orchid vendors in the Funchal market, mainly pbulbs. Each one has hundreds of them for sale, and cheap!
