Tulsa has the Orchid Show April 5th and 6th this year at the Garden Center. I like Texas too, I've been to Dallas quite a few times.

You lived sosuth if where I am, Terry. We're up in Dutchess Co just a little north of I-84 and the Taconic State Pkwy. I have over 100 orchids of all types - I don't focus on any one. I suppose I've been growing them for about 8 years and they can be addictive! Another plant I grow along with them is a Clivia miniata (not an orchid but just as interesting). Some day I'd like to have a greenhouse but for the time being, I make do with a sun room and window sills. During the summer months a few of the orchids go outside as do the cacti and succulents. It's a real pain to bring them all back in when the weather gets cold again but I'm usually rewarded with blooms during winter. Makes it all worth while!
