Greetings from North California
Hello, everybody. My name is Andrew and I am a 17-year-old male from northern California. I have grown carnivorous plants for several years, but I recently got into orchids (last weekend) after a brief encounter with them a couple of years ago that did not end well.
I have attended the Sacramento orchid show for as long as I could remember, but I have always been nervous about keeping one. I finally bought a Laelia anceps var. guerrero that was sold bare root. Since then, I have also purchased a few cattleya clones, a dendrobium nobile, a phalaenopsis and rescued a miltoniopsis that was on sale but has root rot.
I am very excited to have revisited the forums and be able to participate in this amazing community.
