Florida plant lovers??
HHi, Everyone is so friendly here...thanks. I was wondering if there are any members from the Daytona/Edgewater area? It's nice to chat plants but nicer to view what others have. Thanks.

While I'm not from your area, your idea of others on the board from a location getting together and chatting over a cup/mug of whatever or visiting growing areas of locals sounds like a terrific thought...I personally always look to see where people are posting from and am somewhat disappointed when they don't at lease list a region.....

My parents live in the Stuart area and my Dad used to keep his phals indoors on the lanai....never did much until he hung them in the tree outside. Well, they took off....hugh flowers, roots all over the place...what difference. Someday, I'm moving!!!!!!!

Hey, Floridaplantlady, I'm a hop, skip, and a jump away from you. I know there are some other members near me too. I live in Inverness. I thought I saw some posters with some beautiful collections in the Spring Hill area.

Ocala plant sale
Hi, Just wanted to let you know about the flower/plants/spring fling. Go for it!!!! If you have a wagon or a cart bring it. Usually the boy scouts run wagons back and forth to your cars. Be there early. I give them a few dollars...well worth it. They have everything. It's off north 301 (Ocala & 40) at old Jacksonville Rd. Ten min. north of Hwy 40. Vere off to the right. Down on the left. A short way. They also have chips in 40 lb bags. Price's are right for plants/shrubs/palms. Orchids a little pricey.
