Lurker stepping out of the shadows
Just figured I'd officially say "HI!" From DFW, TX
Been lurking on here for a while. Not new to orchids. We've had them for around 5 years. A phal started it all. Still have it too. We had 69 plants at last count. Got some keiki's and divisions I could do so that will increase even if I could stop getting more. Its a sickness. We have plumerias, citrus, succulents, and other tropicals too. No green house so I'm living in a jungle since its cold out. Most of them go outside when it warms.
Anyway, I just started doing mounts and contemplating on setting up a terrerium for a jewel, so I got on here to gain more knowledge.
Pics of some recent bloomers the fun of it.

Hello and welcome to the board! Your blooms are beautiful. I used to live in Keller several years ago, still miss it. I wish we had that gorgeous weather here, would be wonderful for growing orchids outside.
You will find tons of information here and very friendly members.

Welcome Octopiston!
Your first one looks a bit like one of mine (Cattleya Llory Ann 'Paradise'). Is yours fragrant?
The other blooms are nice too. Good growing!

I'm actually down in Burleson. The orchids do better outside, but triple digit dry summers gets a bit brutal for them.

Good eye. It is indeed Lory Ann Paradise Dark Splash. I kept the bloom. Its dry and brownish, but is still fragrant. We picked it up (along with others) on a trip to the big island 3 years ago in a 2" pot. This was it's first blooming. Its one of the ones I'm considering mounting since it is crawling out of its current pot.
