There are many members from my neighboring state all having the gift of growing orchids extremely well. Actually the tri-state area has many wonderful vendors as well.

Depending on what you can grow and what you like, the local vendors I've ordered from are Marlow(NY),Piping Rock(NY),Waldor direct from a visit(NJ) and J&L(CT). Others in CA. and MN. have kept me in the red as well. Finding a local orchid society would be beneficial also in hooking you up with new friends and plants to look into.
