Hi Everyone!
I've been obsessed with plants as far back as I can remember, but I'm relatively new to the orchid growing hobby. I started with a Phalaenopsis a year ago and --I'm sure a lot of you can relate-- I couldn't stop there. My plant collection includes two Phalaenopsis, an Oncidium twinkle, and a Vanilla orchid. I'm expecting two new Shipments from Andy's orchids very soon! over the past year I've learned so much by lurking through forums like this one and my interest in orchids has grown.
Other than plants, I have a cat, a turtle, and I've had a few small pets in the past. I'm going to school for degrees in Ecology and Computer Science so I can find a way to build a career in the fields that interest me most.
I can't imagine living without plants in my home. Hopefully, I can one day have a greenhouse so I can continue to grow my collection and keep learning.

Hello and welcome!
I love plants, too. I thought about a greenhouse in the past but I decided that I prefer my plants in the home so when I ran out of windows, I added shelves and lights. A sun room or conservatory might have been nice, though...
