Been here over a year now, only just found this thread!

Well whadyaknow, there's a place here to introduce yourself! Only took me a year to find it - I guess that means I consider the health and beauty of my plants far more important than introducing myself!
Well then, I'm Mike, I'm English by nature, but now residing in Jalisco, Mexico. Been a fan of orchids for a few years now - it all started off because my wife a) hates roses, and b) is allergic to many other common "bouquet" flowers. Or at least that's what she tells me - I just think she didn't want to admit her expensive tastes - hehehe! So ... orchids became the present of choice. Skip forward a few years, and we find ourselves with a collection of around 200 plants which we're currently turning into a business in order to cover the expenses of our vice.

By the way, I'm soooo glad I found this site - you guys (in particular Orchid Whisperer, Ray, PaphMadMan, bil and estación seca) have helped me save many a beautiful plant that otherwise would have been compost. Big love ♥.
