Welcome to Orchidboard I am from Northern Indiana as well. Are you close to South Bend? There is an orchid club Michiana Orchid Society. There is a show in Oct. at Holy Cross near Notre Dame.

I thought I responded to you last night but, apparently not. Forgive me if you get two posts. Yes, I am in Michigan City. I grew up near South Bend in Greene Township very close to Potato Creek Park. I would love more information about that show!

Is it permissible to say this? Do you ever order from or visit Haussermans in Villa Park, IL? I hate the drive
so, I thought about ordering some species Phals from them. They had a few neat things on sale. Is ordering versus visiting inadvisable? Being relatively new to anything but Phals, I don't usually know what I am looking at if it isn't in bloom.

I have ordered once from Hausermann's. I order from a lot of places and also buy on Ebay. We don't live too far from each other. I sent you a private message.
