Hello!
Default Hello!

Hi! I've been killing things for years. Last summer, my family and I were inspired by a friends garden to try again. We bought an Earthbox and an Earthbox Jr, which are billed as almost dummy proof. We overfilled them both, the big one with veggies and the small one with ornamentals. My daughter convinced me to buy a NOID phal while we picked them out, even though I promised her she was sentencing it to death. We don't get any direct light at this house, so we set the boxes up at our other house. That meant my fiancé did all the work as he went every day and I couldn't. He battled 3 rounds of pests, and then the very healthy tomato plant cannibalized everything else in the box. In frustration, he dug up both boxes and put them in the shed. Meanwhile, our lanai is the perfect climate for orchids, and the phal was very happy. Maybe more in spite of me than because of me! My fiancé gave me a second phal for my birthday, and it too flourished. Since then I've been bitten by the orchid bug and am very excited with plants that live and don't die.
