Hello all, from Sarasota Fl :)
Hi everyone, I'm Trisha and about a year ago I became obsessed with mounting and arranging orchids to a cluster palm in my front yard. Cattleyas on the sunny side and phals on the other. I buy them as I find them on sale and then add them to my tree. I have 15 mounted so far, 6 of which are in bud, and a few more sitting on the shelves of a small greenhouse on my patio.
I am very interested in summer blooming Phals and am hoping to add a few to my collection this summer. I just need to be careful, as I fear this is going to become a serious addiction for me! Lol

Glad you could join us. You won't get any arguments from us. We're all addicts here, just can't say no to "one more orchid"

Thank you for the Welcome! I've been reading and taking in so much information since I joined. I can't get enough. No I haven't, but I would really like to. When is the next meeting?

The next meeting is on the fourth (first Monday of every month) at 6:15 pm at the Selby gardens. You can bring a plant if you're having trouble with it too

I am hoping you will be posting piictures of your orchid tree! Those little yellow oncidiums also look good on a tree!

Great to know, thank you. As soon as my work schedule changes from Monday nights I'll be there.

Thanks I'll look into the Oncidiums!
6 of my mounted orchids are about to bloom, and as soon as a few of them open, I will absolutely post pictures! :-)
