Default New Orchid Lover

I have been lurking about for weeks and I decieded to sign up. I got started with orchids about 3 years ago when a neighbor showed me her collection. I was amazed at her collection. It wasn't long after that that I purchased my first orchid a Dendrobium at a local outlet grocery. Currently I have 24 orchids a mixture of Dens, Phals and Catts (windowsill type).. I live in Central Oregon on Crooked River Ranch which is near Terrebonne and Redmond, Oregon.
I am currently waiting for my Orchidarium to arrive and I am really excited. My home is small and I fear that there is not sufficient humidity for my babies. I am really excited about learning everything I can from all of you.
Thanks - Sheridan

Welcome to the OB!!

It sounds like you have quite the collection of 'chids...we all just love to over. I would love to see the progress of how you are going to set up your orchidarium...I am interested in that but am fearful of what might happen if I would ever set something like that up.

If you ever need anything...don't be afraid to ask all of these folks are GREAT!.

Hi Sheridan...welcome to Orchidboard

Sounds like you've been bitten by the orchid bug It's great, isn't it?

If you're interested in orchidariums, you should check out our Terrarium Gardening forum. Many of us have terrariums...either as the main growing space or just an extra space for these little cuties

If you need help with anything, let us know...and we LOVE

Classified Ad Orchidarium forum

Orchidlover, thanks for the warm welcome.....
This is so much fun talking to others with the same affliction Oh! I have been bitten really bad. How do I find the orchidarium/terrarium forum on this site? Its going to take me awhile to learn my way around.
Last night I went on to First Rays site to learn about s/h and ordered a small kit enough for two chids. I am going to test the theory and who knows maybe I will end up repotting the whole lot.. Maybe this week my orchidarium will arrive I have everything all ready for it. Patience is not one of my virtures especially when it comes to orchids.
Thanks again for the warm welcom

TTFN - Sheridan
