There is an app called tapatalk that some people use to interact with Orchid Board from their phones. I haven't used it so I can't advise.
But, you can open a browser window on your phone or computer, log into Orchid Board, compose your message as you have been doing, and underneath the message box click the grey Go Advanced button. Then look down for Manage Attachments. It brings up a separate box. You can click Choose File, browse to a file on your device, then click Upload to upload the photo and have it appear in your message.
