Beaking the ice

Hi everybody,

I just joined today and i am very excited.

I bought my first orchid about a year ago and now have 18, I'm also seriously addicted .

I started buying little ones to see if they would survive and they all survived. Now I moved on to buying big flowering ones for the instant gratification and also so i know what i have.

I have a couple that i have no idea what they are and some that i have a name but can not find pictures any where on the web. And ofcourse some pictures with no names.

I know what you mean about the instant gratification thing Sometimes it takes too long to wait for new buds to open but then I remember that there's an orchid greenhouse just down the street...

Thank you all for the warm welcome and im excited to see that there are a lot of Torontonians on the OB.

I explored the OB and it is great, congrats . I saw a lot of great pics and got even more excited, if possible. I even found the pet forum for when i need help with, Maya,the bird

My Orchid wish list keeps getting longer and longer.
