Hi! I'm also from San Diego. I'd like to know how your orchids are doing so far, with the abrupt and wild changes in our temperatures.

Hi Sylviab! So far so good. Everything except for 6 phals, a Zygo, an Oncidium and a Cattleya that was doing poor already are inside so I have some control. I've had to water a few of my mounted orchids am and pm with the low humidity and heat but I've got a humidifier running to help keep things more stable. But it is taking some work! How about you?

I have around 6 or so phals inside the house and all but one have buds, Gets me excited whenever I see them"pregnant"! The rest , cymbidiums, catts, oncidiums, dendrobiums and a vanda are all outside. I look forward to the weekends when I can spend time with them.
