Thank you for the welcome. I'm still figuring out how to reply and post. I'm sure I'll figure it out soon enough. Yes the Carlyle is wild. They grow like crazy along the Kalamath river. But I did figure out how to get a few going indoors. It's tricky but manageable. I took two out of the ground, from a field of about 300. They grow along Seiad creek. It's a small mountain town just 30 miles southwest of the Oregon border.

Thank you. I'm in Eureka now. The humidity is a blessing. No more humidifiers. I just added a Beallara to my collection. It's a Beallara Marfitch "Howard's dream"
