Default New member from the Canadian tropics.

... which of course, does not exist - though we were wondering on Christmas eve, out in shirt sleeves!

I'm another accidental orchidist who has gradually accumulated these pets (for they are surely not plants). My fascination stems from their individuality - far more like animals than plants so that yes, I do talk to them. But don't worry they are not talking back yet!

I've joined to try to identify an orchid that I've had on the shelf for over 10 years and have finally found the conditions to get it to flower. Its in the appropriate topic - but I have to post 5 times to add the picture :-\ So here I am filling intro topic space!
