Hello Everybody! I am new to growing orchids, but Love them!
Default Hello Everybody! I am new to growing orchids, but Love them!

I recently started growing orchids in Sunshine Florida! They were given to me and are absolutely beautiful. Two from my late grandmother, and one beautiful light purple orchid from my wife's late grandmother.

I am putting together a series of videos showing the growth and how to propagate these plants. Any tips or comments are greatly appreciated!

Sincerely,
Michael

Hello and welcome to the forum and to orchid growing. I watched the first one but the second one was getting long, sorry. I don't do seed propagation at least yet so not sure how to help you with that.

Well that is one way! I have 3 kiekis on my dendrobium and have planted them in the same pot right next to mamma. I have several Phal Kiekis that are already putting out spikes and are just tiny. Since they are used to living in air they are going to be mounted.
