I`m new &amp; I love orchids Male
Thumbs up I`m new & I love orchids
everyone, I`m new to this venue, but I love orchids. I left raising roses in Tampa Fla to enjoying orchids. Much, much easier.

I have been doing orchids for almost 2 yrs. My wife and I are in the Tampa Bay Orchid Society and we just came back from the 19th WOC in Miami a week ago. Only 1 word WOW! WOW! I did add 9 orchids to my collection and that brings me to about 70 and that is enough. I planned a 2 night Bus trip from Tampa to Miami for about 25 people. On Friday before coming back to Tampa we hit the Tamiami Festival Orchid show and it was amazing as well. Not as large as the WOC, but many of the vendors were in both places.

I will say this about The Tampa Bay Orchid Society, many trips are planned through the year, most one day, but all are very good for people who like orchids. The amazing thing is this club actually pays for about 40% of a trip for members.

The show must have been great - a few members here have shared the photos with us. Lots to see, those orchid trees we're just amazing to look at for sure.

Welcome to the forum. Well that must be wonderfull experience such a show. You have a lot of orchids. Do you grow them in a greenhouse then, that you have space for so many orchids.
