Greetings from North Carolina
I am new to this forum and very excited to see what I can learn. I have been an orchid addict for about 3 years and have collected a total of 29 plants ranging from Phalenopsis, Vandas, cattleya, oncidium, and my newest addition: masdevallia. I enjoy all varieties and am eager to learn more about the culture and proper care for some of mine which I am still trying to find the best conditions for. Thanks in advance as I am sure I will hear from many of you over time!

Hi!
The only orchid nurserie I have visited in N. Carolina is Owen's Orchids just outside of Asheville, this is where is just picked up my latest addition-'Fuzzy Peach' Masdevallia. Do you have any suggestions of other must visit nurseries?

Carolina orchids has probably the best collection of species you will find in the Southeast. Woodland orchids is also really nice.
Owen's is great, but they are a little bit more on the pricey side of things. They don't really do sales or discounts.
Welcome to OB!
