Default New here and new to orchids

I just joined and was recently bitten by the orchid bug. I bought my first one at the grocery store in late April. It is a mini Phal. Since then, I found two growers locally and added a few from them to my collection. I also added a few from eBay sellers that are not far from me. I love Cattleya and the mini Cats. I bought the most unusual Vanda at a grower. It smells heavenly and is enjoying the summer hanging in my dappled shade yard. I now have 17 orchids, of which 5 are Phals, which are pretty but I really like the fragrant orchids. I bought some clear shelves to hang in my 5 foot by 5 foot kitchen window that faces west. Since my yard is shaded by huge oak trees, the light is bright but it only gets a few minutes of sunlight during the summer. So far, everyone is happy in that window. I'm still learning and hoping I do not kill any of my orchids. I only water the potted ones when they are dry or mostly dry and the ones in net pots every other or every third day.
