Default Coming out of the Green house

My name is Nettie and I was just toodling around and came across this forum so I decided to jump in and say hi.

I belong to the local Sacramento Orchid Society and I have about 70 - 90 orchids in various stages. I started with Orchids heavily about a year ago and have been full steam ever since. I have learned that moss and I don't mix because many of my orchids have acquired root rot. Talk about disappointing but try try again.

Have a wonderful evening everyone

Welcome aboard, Nettie. I am moss challenged too, except for two or three plants I have that just would not do anything for me in bark. Feel free to jump right in, and have fun.

Kim

Hi Nettie and welcome to Orchid Board

Like you, I don't generally get on with moss except on my Masdies and Restrepia which seem to like it.

Welcome to the OB Nettie.

DOWN WITH MOSS! I'm a bark person too. I second the call for pics - we'd love to catch a peek inside your greenhouse.

See ya round the OB.
