Default Hi from Glendale, CA

Hi i'm Jay form Glendale California. I just started last February 2015. I bought a Phalaenopsis from Jons supermarket. Then bought a Miltassia Shelob "Tolkien" from a collector in LA. Then just bought Oncidium Sharry Baby "Red Fantasy". Im looking forward in owning a Catasetum orchid. I will be going to the Bay Area first week of June and maybe visit some Nursery or maybe someone who will sell me some Catasetum.

What orchid alliance are you interested in? Just curious. Also a heads up, some/many might be closed for the 4th of July holiday.

There is a small show in San Jose that weekend: San Jose Orchid Expo

I don't know if there will be any Catasetinae available.

Sunset Valley Orchids has plenty and they are south of you.
