Just wanted to say

I have been reading your board for a while but never registered. I always loved plants in general, but been having little periods of Orchid fever off and on for years. I caught the fever again. Not sure how long it will last this time. Hope you won't mind me around with this fever.

Not like Orchid fever is catchy or anything!

Hi and welcome!

I am pretty new here as well. You are mistaken tho, Orchid Fever is very contagious and if you spend much time here you're in deep trouble. There is no cure, just the occasional orchid fix when you buy yet another one.

Everyone is very helpful here, very friendly. You will have to post some pictures of your plants!

I was being a little facetious about Orchid fever not being catchy. My personality does not transfer well, when I type on forums. so sorry about that. I am new to joining a forum all together. I use the comp more for learning, shopping, and email.

I am already in trouble, because all I want to do is buy new orchids right now. It is very hard especially when the budget does not allow for it. I have had Orchids before but for the last 5 years I had none. Right now I only have 5 orchids in my collection.

I will have to figure out how I can post the pics for everyone to see.

No joke, Put me in the situation, where you have the option of a nice steak dinner or a new orchid. 99.8% of the time, I would go for the orchid. (If I really want it) Then I have to settle for a nice packet of ramen noodle for dinner.
