Hallo. I´m also new here. I did´t know I was shy, but I must be. I have grow orchids in my windowseals from -92 but have had an interest loong before that first one, of cause a Phalaenopis that stil is alive and going strong. I have something over 50 orchids in my home. I guess I hve to sell out a few to have growing space for the new ones.

I have full time work as a nurse for mentally sick, a very varied job, and I don´t feel so very young longer eigher, but I´m happy and live with a very kind man.

What kind of orchids do you like best? Which ones do the best for you in your part of the world?

Hallo again, my favorite is Cattleya intermedia with all its variations, they is also of a handy size. Lovely miniture Catts can be a little difficult to get up here in the north, and if I find one it is yellow and pink, a color combination that I´m not overly fond of. Anyway when I first saw the blushing Blc. Copper Queen I fell for it as once. To my disapointment it stopped blushing as soon as it got into my home
