Hi, I am new to the board, first post. While entering my collection into "My Orchid Database", I was perplexed on the correct genera of one of my orchids. I purchased a Smbctna Garnet Glory 'Juno Beach' HCC/AOS awhile back. I was trying to find the correct name for Smbctna and discovered that it was also a Ctph. Since I am not sure what either one stands for, thought someone could help me. Thanks.
Mostly cats and cat hybrids. Have some dens and den hybrids, phals, vandas, etc. Have about 300 on the patio. Do not have a greenhouse, so really scramble when it gets cold in central FL.

At the time of the award, it was Smbcna (no "t"). Last I looked (which has been a while), AOS was maintaining that nothogenus name/abbreviation in its award registry, but RHS and WildCatt had picked up the then-new nothgenus name/abbreviation of Ctph. -- which caused the award not to be found in WildCatt ...
