Hello,
I've been growing orchids for a little over two years now, mostly the common varieties you are likely to see in Garden Centres over here: Phalaenopsis, Miltoniopsis and Dendrobiums, but I have branched out into some slightly more unusual varieties as well including Brassia, Chysis and Polystachya.
Apart from Orchids my main area of interest is Herpetology, especially Asian Pit Vipers, Rear-fanged Colubrids and Monitor Lizards. When I'm not tending to my Orchids or working with my reptiles I spend the vast majority of my time watching anime, and every so often I go surfing (in the sea, not on the web.)
Despite two years experience, I am still a total novice, so I hope everyone has a high tolerance for potentially stupid questions.
Kindest regards,
Alex
