Hi everybody!


After some problems trying to sign up in the past i finally managed to succesfully sign up with an old gmail account.

I am a 41 year old orchid enthousiast from Breda, the Netherlands and i have been growing my precious plants for over 5/6 years.

Learning every day

My wife appreciates my hobby too so that's really great. Often we sit on the coach looking around and we kinda make it a sport of who finds the latest spike or flower.

Since we don't have a to big of a house, we are true windowsill growers with the usual pro's and cons unfortunally.

I have attached a picture of our livingroom so you can see how we cope with our habit

Eager to hopefully help out other members here with their questions and maybe ask a couple one and then for myself since learning never ends with our hobby!

Greetings from Wageningen, and welcome to Orchidboard! It's nice to see more people joining from the Netherlands.

Very nice windowsills full of orchids!! Growing on windowsills isn't so bad here. Dutch homes often have many large windows, which is perfect for (lots of) plants. Though the very many gray winter days (like we've been having lately...) is not so great. At least it's not raining.
