I killed everything, but I am starting over again!
Hi, I was growing some orchids but due to an illness, I never brought my orchids inside for winter. I tried growing african violets instead, but they just don't interest me.
I just bought "Fragrant Orchids" by frowine, so I am thinking it is time for me to start buying orchids again. I grow my orchids on the windowsill.

I agree...Growing orchids is a little like riding a horse: You have to learn from things that go wrong and try again. I think of it this way, too: If is was easy, anyone could do it!
Hope to "see" you around here @ OB!

Happened to me, too, some years ago. Glad you're having another go!

Yep, gotta keep trying. Learning from failure leads to success. The local landfill has plenty of my failures.

In the past, I gave the orchids all away a couple of times, then somehow the hobby finally stuck. Good luck! Fragrant orchids are definitely the way to go!

Thank you for the kind replies. I feel a lot better knowing that killing orchids is part of the learning curve.

Just don't spend a fortune on your Learning Orchids. It's a bit more painful if you kill that $100.00 __fill in the blank__ orchid.
