everyone!
I have been bitten by the orchid bug. It all started with a little white phalaenopsis my aunt bought me as a going-away present when I started college as a transfer student. I was incredibly successful at KILLING
the poor plant, and finally gave up on it this last summer in spite of efforts to nurse it back to health.
I now have 8 beautiful orchids in my room, including 2 small phals, one big phal, an odontocidium wildcat, a miltassia charles m fitch, a NOID brassia, and two Nelly Islers.
My most exciting moment to date was discovering the flower spike on my odontocidium! It is now about 10 inches tall and I feel proud that I've learned the proper methods of care for my plants now.
I study chemistry, I speak some German, I love science, and I really really love orchids! I have a youtube channel, too, if anyone is curious to watch videos featuring ecclectic topics such as drivers I hate, dreadlocks, allergy medication, and of course, orchids.

I'll bit you adieu and leave you with some photos of my beautiful flowers (some are old; they're not all currently in bloom!)!
