Hello and welcome...I'm new at this too, Karen...it's been so much fun being on Orchid Board so far - so much to learn!

Gonna be cold at the orchid show today! I hope it's indoors! I'm in Florida too but on the east side of Orlando on the coast.

You say you're looking for a fragrant Catt for hubby, in case you weren't aware, I've found that the ones that are fragrant have strongest scent in the mornings and when the humidity is really high. I get my "fix" every morning about 7:30!

I hope you find some chids to bring home and for your mom and hubby. Please do share pics!! And try to stay warm.

You made me laugh about the part, not wearing your hearing aids while reading forum. I do wear mine throughout the day... If my sons are talking loud, I turn it off, which gives me headaches.

Actually, I didn't go due to conflicted plan. It's always next time. But I found couple that my husband insisted to get that small phal at flea market. Got them both for 8 bucks. (On sale) I did asked the lady to see if she do have brassasovola. She does but her mom just took it home before we just arrived at her place. I will see her again this Saturday. oh yes, there is always room for more future orchids... LOL

DeafOrchidLover, if I have a choice, I take them off. I like the cushion of quiet. And there are some folks who talk so loudly that it hurts to listen to them. My husband, bless him, has never figured out that talking to me when he's in another room, has his back to me, or is bent over tying his shoes is just not going to help me hear him...hearing aids or not!
