Well, I just returned from a week's vacation in FL which included attending the WOC.
While the commute from Ft. Lauderdale to Miami on opening day was not pleasant (a fuel tanker jack-knifed on I-95, shutting down all lanes and killing two people), the WOC was GREAT! It was, by far, the best plant show I've attended.
I went home with 10 orchids--8 phals, 1 paph, and 1 clowesia. The vendors and displays were out of this world. There was so much to see.
I also visited the AOS Headquarters, the Morikami Japanese Gardens, Marie Selby Botanical Gardens, Fairchild Botanical Gardens, and Tropiflora (bromeliad retailer). An awesome vacation!
I'm glad I made it down there--it was well worth the trip.
Looking forward to attending the New Hampshire orchid show in February.
