Newb from Scotland! Hello!
Default Newb from Scotland! Hello!

Hi Everyone!

I've been lurking around for a little while but not able to join until today as registration had been disabled!

My name is Anna, and I share my house with a long suffering husband Adam, 2 dogs, 5 cats, fish and what can only be described as a growing Orchid collection!

I have only recently begun growing orchids....I inherited one from my grandmothers house when she passed away a year ago, and it was flowering at the time...and I had no idea what I was doing!

Flowers died, as they do, and I left it on my windowsill, watering when I remembered and this year, found out what it was when it started to spike! Much to my amazement!

It's a big huge Phal, NOID I would imagine, on a North facing window... seems to be doing ok! It has since been joined by more phals, and some Oncidium randoms and a Dendrobium-Phalaenopsis type.. (including rescue phals from my mum!)

Anyhoo....I'm here and will have a million questions, and about the same in photos of them!

Thanks

Anna
