Default Hello, my curiosity has just overcome my shyness...

Hello to Everyone,

I have been observing Orchid Board for a while (“lurking”) and enjoyed reading all of the helpful comments and viewing all those beautiful pictures. My favorite NOID orchid is in bloom now, and I thought it is time to come on board and ask if anyone recognizes it. I am going to post my question on the identification forum, but before that I just wanted to say hello and a few words on how I caught the “orchid fever”. All started when I almost killed my first Phalaenopsis that presented me with sprays of beautiful flowers several times for three years despite my full ignorance. Now I know that the only luck was that the pot sat on a very shallow plate, so I could not over-water it. In order to save the poor thing, I started researching about orchids and became more and more immersed in their world.

You grow them beautiful. Congrats on a very nice and colorful collection. I really like that first Phal. Welcome to the Orchid Board.
