Hello everyone! Im Chelsea, from a small town outside of Pittsburgh pa. Semi new to orchids. I say this because Ive always had a few, but they were second best to my carnivorous plant collection. After my mother's favorite plant bloomed again for the first time since she passed, I developed a whole new appreciation for the orchid. So here I am, 13 plants later, to learn from fellow enthusiasts.

Hello from Ohio! Welcome to Orchid board!
I'm not too certain what part of Pgh you are from but there is a very nice orchid society in the area, OSWP (Orchid Society of Western Pennsylvania). I am not sure when they have meetings but they have a nice show every spring. Just thought I would let you know in case you become addicted....
