Default Orchid Enthusiast in Manhattan
Hello Everyone - I live in midtown Manhattan and have been obsessed with orchids for 4 or 5 years now. We live in a small NY apartment and right now I have 18 orchids - all growing on two windowsills. I have 9 Paphs, 1 Phrag, 3 Phals, 1 Miltonia, 1 Psychopsis and 3 Cattleyas. They are in two southern windows, but because of the tall buildings (and a small tree that is in front of the window), I use this one for the Paphs and Phals. The Catts are in the other window that gets more light. All are doing well. I'll post some pics soon.

Welcome to the boards, fareh. My partner's son and new daughter-in-law live in Manhattan as well. We were up there in February for their wedding.
