Dig around.... there's lots of great advice to be had here.
For now though.
Describe your phals state.
And after 5 posts put up a picture of it.
Leaves are important but don't forget a shot of the roots!

This is my Phals current state,
As of current, I have two short stems that I had cut off to the shortest node on the bottom of the stem due to the remainder of the stem being dead. I HAD one healthy green stem remaining (with no flowers) and now it has browned and dried out. The orchid did have 3 lush green leaves but those have all fallen off. I noticed that the crown of the leaf had yellowed some and when I went to grab the leaf it just fell off with ease.
So now I am left with a Phal orchid with no leaves, two short stems about an 1 1/2 in. tall and one tall brown, dried out stem.
I have now discovered that the pot in which I have my orchid in is way too big and the sphagnum moss I have atop is a no-no. Also too, I do not have it potted in orchid mix/bark, it's potted in an indoor mix by Miracle Gro, so I am assuming this isn't helping either.
I did PM a member here and got some valuable feedback but any other advice is welcomed.
I will be visiting Lowe's today to purchase a smaller/clay pot along with Orchid bark to repot it. I am crossing my fingers that the roots are still salvageable.
