Had snow fall earlier today but that turned into a snow/rain mix. I don't mind the snow. It has many benefits that many folks in my area simply don't consider. Don't want a spring warm up to hit unless it is here to stay. Couple winters ago had a long warm up then a deep freeze -- killed off around 2/3 of the state's fruit tree crops. Not a good thing.

Wow VJO, I'm in STL and the storms are just now hitting. We hit 70 too and now we are dropping again. It was nice while it lasted.

Welcome to the Orchid Board. Here we have been unable to break 32 until the last few days. Today was a beautiful sunny 40 some odd degrees out, maybe even hit 50. All that snow was melting, but at the parks we still have about 6 inches of snow to melt.

I'm not fond of early spring and then a deep freeze... I have fruit trees!
It is going to turn cold again...I am hoping the rest of this batch of snow will melt before we get a new crop.

Welcome to the board!
Heard on the news that we're in for another shot of the polar vortex. Not looking forward to that one bit!
