Newbie mini phal lover from Georgia!
Hey, everybody! I've been collecting miniature phalaenopsis for about a year now and am starting to feel confident enough to seek out other orchid lovers. I only joined the Orchid Board yesterday and am planning on going to a meeting in Atlanta, GA on the 13th. Hope to chat with you all soon, both online and off!

Hi, No-Pro-mwa! I currently have about 10 mini phals, all name unknowns (NoIDs, I think is what they're supposed to be called until i know their names for sure?) except I do have a P. Sogo Viviens that I bought at an Orchid sale. It's a miniature, I'm not entirely sure if all Sogo Viviens are minis, 'tho.

Pics of your minis please!!! I love mini phals! I have five mini phals right now and would love to get a few more. I have them growing in.. don't laugh, I found some stainless steel suction cup shower baskets on clearance and hung them on the east facing window in my office. I want a couple more mini phals so I can fill the window with minis and am in the market for some that aren't yellow, white or pink.
My favorite right now is this one:
Phal. Yushan Little Pearl
This is an older picture of that plant. It ended up blooming with about eight flowers in total and then the final bud on the end of the spike blasted on me. I was so bummed. The flowers haven't dropped off the spike yet and I took this picture on October 15th! Longest lasting flowers I've seen yet!

OMG that one's so pretty! I love the mottled pattern! Here, I've attached pics of my minis. They're all NoIDs except a P. Sogo Vivien (the candycane striped one that's just opening) and what we think is a P. Sogo Grotis (the sunset blush one next to the white mini). My husband bought me a little green house, it's about waist high with a middle shelf and the whole thing has a plastic covering that zips up to enclose it, so I've got all of their pots sitting on gravel with water that I top up to keep the humidity levels as high as I can right now.

Love the coral pink one with the yellow center! Do you have any pics of your greenhouse? Maybe that would be a better fit for my grow space. I have run out of window sill and I don't trust those suction cups.
Ironically, after I typed up my previous post, there was a huge crash from upstairs. One of those shower shelves had fallen down and one of the pots for one of my mini phals was smashed and my P. Sogo Yukidan that was sitting beneath it got knocked out of its pot, again. That poor thing has been through it. I rescued it from being drowned in a hardware store and in spite of how many times I have knocked it over, it keeps growing new roots for me.

Here's a quick photo of it (ignore the crap on the top of it and the dead cattleya at the bottom, poor thing just up and died on me and I've no clue why yet since everybody else around it was fine.) My husband bought the greenhouse for me a year or so ago, I believe it's this one only mine doesn't have the vaulted top for taller plants. My one normal sized orchid (the white and purple one) is actually sitting at the bottom and leaning against the back wall, haha!
