I have heart & back complications myself, and I'm permenently disabled. I tire easily and hobble along from it but, my plants help to keep my mind off the misery of pain I feel constantly. I may be a poor man but, I'm thankful for what little I do have.
It's funny how I look back now, and remember my favorite orchids that never failed to always make me smile to look at them. It's like missing a loved one, an old friend, or a beloved pet. Saddens me sometimes that they are gone. I sure do miss them.
I'm Now looking forward to new horizons.
Thanks again!
God Bless!
Dan~
Dan, what were your favorites if I may ask?

dan the man,
the forces of nature can be cruel. on the other hand if it wasnt for the occasional cleansing of the green earth, we would all be buried in garbage up to our necks...

ya i started over a few times already in 4 years. Looking forward to the next fresh start one more time.

I would swear off the phony women@online dating sites before I would ever swear off orchids...again

you can be lucky and grow some flowers. you can also be good and grow the plants too.

Tommy, I have too many favorites to list them all.
But, right now, I'm interested in finding a few each of BLCs, Dens, Onc., Lc, Ludisia discolor, phrags, paphs, and tea cup and mini type Cyms.

Thank you all for the kind welcome, and kind words!
I'm glad to be back to growing orchids. and they make a great companion plant for my Nepenthes tropical pitcher plants also.

Welcome to Orchid Board and welcome back to the hobby of Orchid growing.

So sorry to hear all you lost, I can only imagine how horrible that would be.

But once an orchid nut, always an orchid nut right
