Hi and welcome to Orchidboard

Where in Fl are you? I'm in Spring Hill We've got lots of Floridians here on OB

What types of orchids do you grow? Do you grow them outside, greenhouse, indoors?

Looking forward to hearing more from you and some pictures would be great

if you need help with anything, let us know

I'm in Mt Dora. My Phals are on the screen porch and in an inside window, as is my Zygo. But I grow the majority of my chids outdoors in various spots around the house. We have lots of trees so the sun's never too heavy. Trying to keep up with them—where they are, their babies, feeding, flowering—is quite a feat. And my DH and I are thinking it's time for a greenhouse, at least for the winter.

Thanks for the welcomes

Cool! There are some nifty little orchid houses in Mt Dora dn in Apopka! Have you been to them? Most say they are not open to the public but if you ask nicely, they'll let you in

I've seen the orchid houses but haven't been to them. However, I have been to the other nurseries in Apopka. I love to trade plants with friends since I live on a decent-sized property.
My special orchids usually come from VA (a friends nursery)or HI (when they have their free shipping special). The more common ones I rescue from the superstores and scared people who have no clue what to do with them. Funny really!
