Nice to hear that I was missed. I got a cheap 6 x 8 greenhouse kit this year. We had an old electric heater that was salvaged from an abandoned house and if you remember I bought 10 4'x8' sheets of tempered glass a year ago. Also found a pallet of "scratch and dent" plywood and particle board at Menards for next to nothing. Cut strips off of the particle board and formed frames around the glass. Then put those up around the kit. 111 in there today. Holds the temp at 60 at night. Running 50 - 80 percent humidity. Gravel floor and sunk it 3 feet in the ground.
Now I am so very excited. Just found orchid #8 in spike!!! Plus I found 2 of them in double spike!!!! My B. Nodosa is in triple spike with only 2 flowers per spike, but the place smells awesome at night.

I agree if you are struggling to give them the right conditions it can get pretty disheartening after a bit. Glad to see you were able to save such a significant amount of chids.
