Not new to orchids, really. I started with a clearance phalaenopsis from Lowe's and since then have added more.

So far my favorites are the angraecum and the bulbophyllum (as you may tell from my username).

Greetings from the Lowcountry!

I have fallen victim to the clearance rack at Lowe's too. My phalaenopsis sogo yukidian came from the clearance rack at Lowe's. In fact, I almost bought a 3$ orchid off of that very rack the other day, but I decided that I have no room. As it is, I need to add new hanging baskets in my office and I am considering adding plant stands to the family room, which I am not sure my husband will be thrilled with... especially since I'm considering adding more bulbos to the collection.

I have one bulbo in my collection so far, and it is rumored to smell either like a dead body that's been decaying under the stairs for years, or rotten brie. We'll find out! LOL!

Anyway, welcome to OB! You couldn't have happened upon a nicer bunch of folks on the internet.

I love angraecums, too.
I have the Bulbo ambrosia. I need to get more of them. They are really cool!
Really great to have you join! Hope you have fun!
