I've been a visitor to OB for a while now. My orchid journey began about a year ago. I "rescued" 5 sad orchids from a sale table in a large hardware store. I had to hit the internet as I didn't know anything about orchids. The more I google, the more I see how wonderful the world of orchids is! The Dendrobiums began producing beautiful green leaves, then spikes and finally beautiful blooms but the Oncidiums, leaves but no blooms....until just recently. One of my Oncidiums produced 3 spikes one of which is now in full bloom and the fragrance is amazing. I think it is a Dancing Lady! Recently I added a vanilla orchid and what I think is a Brassavola Cucullata. They need a lot of TLC so I thought it would be a good idea to join a group like this. Looking forward to many orchid hints. As soon as I figure out how to post photos I'll share my Dancing Lady!
