hello from alabama
Default hello from alabama

Hello I am a college student, I am new with orchids, I got my first one this last February. Being on a college budget I have acquired my orchids from carefully watching the sales rack at Lowes.
My collection includes:
-2x Phalaenopsis
-Cattleya ( I believe it may be an aurantiaca)
-An unknown Better Gro marked as Intergeneric hybrid ( the -tag in the pot says Bllra. Pacific Pastel)
-Encyclia cordigera
-Oncidium ampliatum
-brassavola nodosa hybrid
-maxillaria tenufolia
-Epilaeliocattleya (Charlie Brown)
-another cattleya

The last 6 on this list were bought as clearanced better gro bagged orchids. I have decided to stop aquiring new orchids, even if they are on sale, and just focus on waht I have because Im afraid I may have gotten in over my head.

When classes started back I have not been able to spend much time with them and something has spread to almost all of them, so I will be posting in the disease and pest forum looking for help.

Thanks
