Hola, Kamusta, Shalom, er....Hi
Hello all,
I just wanted to say thanks to Marty for setting up this board as I love the format...lol. Anyway, I am a high school biology teacher in the fall and in the summer I am a Live Nursery/Plant Specialist. I have been keeping plants longer than I have been frogs. In fact, my first frogs came from a friend that said my terrariums were boring. I tend to disagree as plants are still my first love. I used to grow about 50 or so species of orchids, but have narrowed my collection down due to an ever growing collection of other plants. I grow in terrariums, hydroponically, and in more traditional mediums. I look forward to having interesting conversations and sharing info as well as pics.
Best,
Justin Bragg

Welcome to the OrchidBoard!
Hi Justin, What types of orchids are you growing and where/how are you growing them?

Re: Hola, Kamusta, Shalom, er....Hi
Hey Justin!
I'm glad you joined. We almost have as many froggers here as on dendroboard Yes, I also love this format. Actually, funny thing...Never told this anyone, but You guys came out with dendroboard while I was in the works to come up with dartfrog forum. Once you got dendroboard up and running I scrapped the idea.... and joined your board... I was sooo tired of Kingsnake's format.... Now that I think of it, I should have stuck to my guns... forums are fun
Welcome to OB

Re: welcome
Hey Oscarman,
Thanks! I grow mostly neotropical species with a few Asian species (very few- Pahps, Phals). I do grow quite a few Bulbophyllum's and Masdevallia's in terrariums and on tree fern panels. My Phals and Paphs I grow hydroponically along with an Oncidium or two.
Thanks Marty! I think a lot of people were sick of the kingsnake forum as it was very boring and narrow. We wanted to explore options more and interconnect people better. It's funny because I wanted to do an epiphyte board last year, but just didn't have the time to set it up.
Best,
Justin
